YUE HANG LAW

Created for the launch of Summerill & Bishop's "Sleeping Beauty" collection, this animation breathes life into a linen pattern drawn from the storybook archives of designer John Derian. Using Photoshop, I extended the pattern to feel visually native across Instagram Reels and Stories, before using Generative AI to animate Sleeping Beauty and the rose bushes that envelop her. The gentle rustle of leaves in the soundscape was a deliberate choice — evoking the enchanted stillness of the world in which she slumbers. Whimsical yet immersive, the animation invites viewers into a fantastical setting, while its slow, considered pace honours Summerill & Bishop's luxury identity.
